Ami Badami, MD is currently an Assistant Professor in the Division of Hematology/Oncology at Loyola University Medical Center. Dr. Badami grew up in Michigan and received her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, MI. She then relocated to Chicago and completed her residency training at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Her Hematology/Oncology fellowship was completed at Loyola University Medical Center, where she served as Chief Fellow during her final year of training. Following training, she remained at Loyola as a faculty member with a focus on treating GU and GI malignancies. Dr. Badami's main research focus has been on GU malignancies with a concentration on opening cooperative group and industry sponsored trials. She is passionate about providing state-of-the-art cancer care and utilizing the latest advances in treatment including immunotherapy, chemotherapy, and hormone therapy.
