Dr. Amy Krambeck is a highly accomplished Professor of Urology at Northwestern Medical in Chicago, Illinois. She completed her Urology residency at the prestigious Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota in 2008, where she received comprehensive training and honed her surgical skills. Building upon her residency, Dr. Krambeck furthered her expertise by undertaking an Endourology fellowship at the esteemed Methodist Institute for Kidney Stone Research in Indianapolis, Indiana from 2008 to 2009.
With a strong foundation in Endourology, Dr. Krambeck embarked on a successful career that spanned several renowned institutions. From 2009 to 2016, she contributed her valuable expertise as an Endourologist in the esteemed Mayo Clinic Department of Urology. During her tenure, Dr. Krambeck showcased her exceptional surgical proficiency and dedication to patient care. In 2016, Dr. Krambeck transitioned to Indiana University, where she assumed a pivotal role in leading the benign urologic diseases division until 2020. Her expertise and leadership greatly enhanced the division's capabilities, providing patients with cutting-edge treatment options for a range of urologic conditions.
Dr. Krambeck is widely recognized for her specialization in the surgical and medical management of stone disease and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Through her comprehensive approach, she has helped numerous patients achieve relief from the debilitating symptoms associated with these conditions. Driven by a passion for advancing medical knowledge, she has dedicated her research efforts to exploring the pathogenesis of stone disease, as well as investigating innovative treatments for urolithiasis during pregnancy.
